Sure beats work

*Even though we didn't catch anything, sitting on a lake in northern Minnesota sure beats working any day....I caught nothing, well, next to nothing as my four pound bass was exciting.  But still...it was relaxing.  Especially when Hank almost drowned when he swam half way across the lake and wouldn't come back.  Or when I lost my glasses in the mucky water and had to go in 50 degree for about ten minutes while i fished around with my feet for them.  Actually now that I think of it- those parts weren't all that relaxing, but they still beat work.

*I'm on a downloading kick now that we have internet.  I tunes now has 1,498 songs, 4.2 days of listening time and 6.6 gigs.  It was about half of that before.  But have no fear- my I-pod can hold 20 gigs.  We have a ways to go.

*So a lot of changes are going on at work.  I found out yesterday that its official my manager is leaving our store.  So probably starting June 1st there's gonna be big changes.  I don't know what to think.  I guess I'm more nervous than anything that this new manager is going to be all gung-ho and go nuts with trying to save the mighty 339.  Fire 15 people his first day and murder the door staff.  It certainly is a position that could attract a guy like that.  I guess we'll see.  I'm safe though.  They already bought my plane tickets to L.A.  Suckers.
